I never planned on becoming a music teacher when I started uploading videos to Tiktok years ago. I started learning Bajoloche, and struggled to understand how to play Regional Mexican music using online resources. I had played guitar for years, and used tabs and tutorials for my entire life. As I continued to struggle to teach myself Bajoloche and more complex Requintos, I realized how useful and simple Music Theory could be if approached the right way.
So I took it upon myself to start creating the content that I was never able to find: thorough, yet simple videos that explained why things work, why we play certain shapes and how they are used in actual songs. I realized how universal these concepts were, and it allowed me to easily learn multiple different instruments, implementing the same concepts I had learned through my research of Music Theory.
My videos began to gain traction, and many people enjoyed my simple approach to teaching scales, chords, and other theory concepts. I was soon urged to start giving private lessons, and the rest is history.
So if you want to learn how to actually play your instruments instead of learning to play songs ON an instrument, look through my videos and diagrams I have created for all the instruments I teach. I try my best to provide as much information as possible so you aren't left with questions or doubts, but if you ever are struggling, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you have.
If you still have trouble trying to learn on your own, you can take private lessons with me and have all of your questions answered live, 1 on 1.
