Although Music Theory concepts are universal and can apply to any instrument, I believe it is important for people to be able to focus on the specifics for applying theory concepts to their instrument. So in all of these courses, you will see lots of overlap with the concepts covered, but also the specific shapes, patterns, and techniques used for those specific instruments and play styles. 

The main purpose of these courses is to teach you how to play your instrument and understand how it works, so that you can learn songs, adornos, and express yourself completely on your own, instead of relying on tutorials and other people to tell you how and what to play. 

In my opinion, music isn't about copying other people, repeating exactly what professional musicians have recorded, or learning as many songs as possible to impress others. It's more about being able to speak your mind and express your creative ideas through the medium of an instrument. Once you learn the language that music utilizes and know what avenues to explore in order to express yourself and ALSO figure out what other musicians are saying in their melodies, adornos, and acordes, you will start to play the instrument, and not just songs ON the instrument.
