Remember: I make all of my diagrams from the Player's Perspective:Â
How you would look down at your fretboard and see the shapes.Â
There's no reason to make you flip the shapes around in your head, and memorize them in orientations other than what you see when you look down at your instrument!

Understanding and memorizing the order of the tonos and where tonos can be found is the first step to learning where you can place the same Root, 5th, and Octave shapes to play over all 12 Major and Minor Chords, as well as for scales too!
Any Tono that you want to play over, play that note as your "Root", then play the string above it for the 5th, and thats all you need!
If you don't have a string above your root, then you must go up 2 "Fret lines" and down 1 string to find that 5th. (Which is also just right about your octave!)
The Octave of your root note (the same note but 8 notes "up" in its own scale) can be found 2 fret lines up and 2 strings down from your root.Â
Play the Root, Lower 5th, Higher 5th, and Octave in different combinations and you'll be playing any song in no time!
Put this 1era 2nda y 3era Pattern + the Root 5th and Octave shape on any tono and you will be able to play hundreds of songs instantly!
Here are the shapes for the Open Major Scales on Tololoche. Since Tuning can vary between many players, these shapes give you the major scale of the String and Fret Line you start on, whatever note that turns out to be in your Tuning.Â
