Here is a Hub of Classic Songs from the different Regional Mexican subgenres you will NEED to know if you want to gig and join a group. Remember that any song can be played in any Key, so take these chords and the rhythm and plug it into any tono you want.
Also, refer to my diagrams on the Major Scale and Diatonic Chords of a Key in case you are confused by the Roman Numerals. (I = Primera, V7 = Segunda, IV = Tercera, all the others are menores or 7 chords.
If you are confused with how the melody is described, plug these numbers into any scale using the scale degrees on Guitar or Accordion and you will be able to hear the intro. I just give you the start so you can use your ear to find the rest.
There are also hundreds of different versions of these songs, so in case the melody or chords don't line up with the version you're listening to, make the changes accordingly, but this should help get you in the right direction.
